RULES AND REGULATIONS
No Cellphones
This camp promises to enhance your knowledge of law enforcement and give you the opportunity to view specialized techniques and equipment.
As with all fun events and good times, there are rules and regulations. Therefore, the following rules need to be adhered to for a safe and fun weekend:
- You have been assigned to a platoon. You must stay with that platoon unless dismissed by a platoon leader.
- When an instructor is speaking, you must be quiet and give him/her respect. If you have a question, raise your hand and you will be called upon.
- Fighting will not be tolerated. If you become involved in a fight, you will be sent home.
- During transportation to and from the university, you must remain seated on the bus.
- During some demonstrations, you will be notified by the instructor where to stay. You must remain at that position until released by the instructor or a platoon leader.
- Meals are provided for you. You will be required to eat at mealtime.
- You must always follow the directions of your platoon leader(s) or his/her designee and other person in authority.
- Theft will not be tolerated! Remember to always keep your hands to yourself.
- At night you will be required to take a shower and clean up. There will be no horseplay tolerated during this time.
- Upon completion of the day’s activities, you will be advised of “lights out”. No horseplay, talking, or other foolishness will be tolerated. If this occurs, the entire company (all campers) will have to pay the consequences.
- Absolutely no cell phones or electronic devices permitted! If you are found with a cell phone it will be taken into property and returned at the end of camp.
These rules are in place for the safety and the welfare of all persons involved in the camp. There will be other rules that will be reviewed during orientation, and you will need to adhere to them as well. Failure to follow these rules on an individual basis may lead to individualized discipline; however, it may also lead to discipline of the entire company.
Follow the progression of discipline:
Tough on the first day! (e.g. 10 push-ups/ 12 crunches/wall sits/dead bug) Second day even more! Sometimes the entire platoon or company.
We teach respect! We do not humiliate or intimidate any camper. We want to build self-esteem and pride!
